X1 (pronounced "X One"; 엑스원) was an eleven-member boy group made of the 10 highest ranking trainees plus the "X" trainee from the finale of Produce X 101.

Career & History
Three members of the group previously debuted in separate groups before competing on Produce X 101 and becoming a member of X1. These members are on hiatus from their main groups until they are finished with promotions for X1, then they will likely return to their respective groups and continue promotions.
They debuted on August 27, 2019 with the album Emergency: Quantum Leap and the title track "Flash".
Controversy & Disbandment

In late 2019 vote-rigging was revealed to have happened in the Produce series, and since the news broke, the group had halted activities to await the outcome of the investigations. While it was legally deemed that the trainees/participants were victims and not involved in the situation, a lot of netizens still called for X1's disbandment since the group had been formed on "unfair" terms. On January 6, 2020 it was announced that the group would disband after long discussions between the members and their agencies.
After Disbandment
The members have since returned to their groups or started various solo careers.
On August 28, 2020 it was reported that the former X1 members (minus Yohan due to schedule conflicts) gathered at the Swing Entertainment office building to have a small and quiet debut anniversary party.
