Lee Gwanghyun (이광현) is currently an independent artist. He was a competitor on Produce 101 Season 2. However, he ranked #44 on episode 8 and was eliminated.
Career & History
Before Produce 101, Gwanghyun was on the debut survival program Boys24 but didn't make it to the final lineup.
In 2018 Gwanghyun debuted as a member of the project group YDPP with Kim Donghyun, Lim Youngmin, and Jung Sewoon. After their one single release, they have not released any other music, so it is assumed they were only a project group for one single.
On August 6, 2019 Starship Entertainment announced that Gwanghyun and the agency have come to a mutual agreement to end his contract. It is not known if Gwanghyun plans to sign with another agency, pursue independent activities, or stop pursuing the idol career. However, he has been making music and posting it to his SoundCloud account.
On June 23, 2020 he officially enlisted.
