Career & History
Before appearing on Produce 101, Ayoung, along with other Happyface trainees, was a member of the predebut project group Die.A.
After Produce 101 ended, she participated in "Don't Give Up", a single with 7 other Produce 101 contestants under the group name 101.
Ayoung represented Happyface Entertainment during Produce 101, but afterwards she left the company.
In July 2016, Ayoung debuted as a soloist with the digital single, "When the Rain Ends" under 2% Entertainment.
In September 2016, she participated in "Don't Give Up", a single with 7 other Produce 101 contestants under the group name 101.
In November 2016, she released a second digital single, "Don't Cry".
She was confirmed as a member of the predebut girl group BLACK MAMBA under ONO Entertainment. In early 2019, Their SNS accounts were deleted and it is assumed they disbanded although there was no official announcement. It's also assumed she left ONO when they rebranded.
